Are all feelings created equal? We would like to think not because some are more pleasant than others. The truth is all feelings have a purpose, and like physical pain, painful feelings are trying to tell us something important. Here are some ideas presented to connect and process with your feelings. That’s the spirit. Weeping may endure for the night but joy will come in the morning. Brothers and sisters in Haiti hold on till the morning.

I would like to respond to anyone, who thinks my previous comment offended Haitian’s, I was only drawing a comparison of their ability to celibrate life and death in their own unique way. I am only sorry I have not the fund’s to get on the next plane out there to help in any way I can, meanwhile all I can do is hope my small donation is put to good use. God bless them all

Shelby :: this is a haitian moment we are showing that we will be not be crushed we will not be forgotten this is a way that we as haitians express ourselves sayin that we must not cry but we must get up and lend a help hand and wyclef was great at showing this by doing a slow tempo song followed by the RARA at the end wow itz takin me 4 eva to ttpe just found out troops found some1 after 2 week 14 days to be exact AMAZING we gonna make it

@Shelby543 U wouldn’t understand. It’s a haitian thing. This is how we get through things we dance and we have a good time just like they do in new orleans

@ccridersuz I feel you on everything that you said, but don’t compare us to Dominicans. They are nothing like us and they haven’t even been through half of what haitian people have been through. We are warriors.

Wyclef fucking did it on this one !!!! people need to stop talking shit bout this performance and need to understand bout Haitians music and what they do and what they listen too !!!!!!!.. even if you listen wyclef said hold up.. lets show them how we do it where we come from..

Anyone who has a problem with this performance this is what we do has Haitians. We honor the dead by celebrate life, we bend but never break. Wyclef show’s no doubt with this performance he is a true son Haiti. Bon Die renmen nou!!!

@ladymjackson001
Well said Lady. LIFE goes on. Mourning about our beloved ones gone is good . But i dont think that those who left us, wants us to stay in grieve. I imagine that they would want us to fight all those emotions that keep us down. Lift ourselves up above the grieve and go on. In my country some of the creole people have the same way of mourning. Its tradition and i’m glad with that.

Loved this, typical of the Haitian’s they are just like the dominicans, no matter what they relish just being alive. They may not have much, at the moment nothing at all, but they are grateful for what most of us take for granted! like the air we breath.
