Bodhicitta is bodhi-citta-utpada (the manifestation of the awakened Mind). This is the Buddhist version of kundalini in which we become aware of the pure Mind than continually animates us. Heretofore, we were overly focused on the corporeal body. Bodhicitta thus marks the first stage of the Bodhisattva (= bodhi-spirit) that culminates in Buddhahood eventually.

I’ve the urge to stick up for the Sakyong in regard to this post. I know few people that work as hard and constantly as this man. I would request anyone that thinks SMR doesn’t have a real job to look up his schedule or to attend a program with him and you will see that he MOST DEFINITELY has dedicated his life to others and works tirelessly on their behalf. I’ve never met anyone that works as much as he does, and never have i met anyone who works as hard for others.

Would you buy a used car from this man?
“I encourage you to do it before you go to work.” Yeah, and I encourage you to get a real job, doode! Then let’s see how deeply you practice Bodichitta before going to work.
Even for the Keanu Reeves school of Buddhism, this is simply pitiful.

The Sakyong Mipham comes across well over this medium. I shared this with my family and some friends and they all had good things to say about it. Please don’t hesitate to do more. My mind and heart are always with you.

I love you Rinpoche, I never met you, but I feel your presence very near, and I will meet you one day… You are a real inspiration. Chogyam Rinpoche, or perhaps his books, saved me, and you are as real as him… Thank you (Montreal, Canada).
