Tourettes I Swear I Can’t Help It || 1*6 || HQ
tinyurl.com Documentary revisiting John Davidson, who featured in a BBC film about Tourettes syndrome in 1988, and 15-year-old Greg Storey, who the cameras met when they revisited John in 2002. Greg is now the same age as John was when he first took part in a documentary. How does Greg’s experience of being a teenager with Tourettes compare to John’s, and how does John’s life continue to change? “The Dude Abides!”

its a funny disorder but it doesnt make them any less human than people without tourettes, its fine 2 laugh at it in my mind as long as u understand that it makes life hard, personally i wouldnt think some1 was weird if they walked around shouting and stuff.

@Jonathansernel1
That’s part of what I’m trying to figure out. It seems to me that when they stop letting their mind wander, that’s when it also stops. However, when they stop doing anything that takes a lot of concentration and their mind wanders, that’s when the outbursts come.
It’s also interesting that their outbursts usually correspond to what they are thinking at the time. If this is true, then IMO it may be possible to at least control what they actually say during these outbursts.
