SONY on the grounds of using parts of Vangelis’s Pulstar (which CREDIT WAS GIVEN) in order for people to buy this track has decided to BLOCK this scientific video in numerous countries – despite being informed it is in fair use and an educational, non profit video.! Science must never be blocked. Sony has the opportunity to request a copyright claim and claim the money for the advertisments, rather than making money from this video Sony has chosen to block the video and also block free speech. It chose not to make money from this!!! What are they in business for???? this shows poor business acumen and poor PR Skills and must not go without retaliation Please politely write to Sony’s European Managing director, his personal email (after much research is here) steve.dowdle@eu.sony.com Please ask him to collect the money from the adverts – rather than blocking a science experiment. Sony’s kack-handed approach to business (on this occasion) let’s face facts they have actually LOST MONEY HERE and the immature attitude to the expansion of ethical science in an educational, non-profit video by some of their staff cannot go without public comment.
